Jamie jumped with joy as her mother went upstairs to grab the cat and take it to the vet. She was going to get a cat! A new cat that was less expensive, and might turn out to be very fluffy and white itself. Her mother came out of the garage, this time with the whole basket that held Jamie's new cat, and with a purse.
