Solo Leveling
Solo Leveling is a novel by Chu gong, and its main character is Sung Jinwoo. I would rate this story 4.9 out of 5 stars since the title of the book literally means what the story is about and it has overwhelming structural cohesion, exceptional stylistic execution, and high audience satisfaction. Solo Leveling is a book/graphic novel and an anime TV series.
Solo Leveling‘s graphics are really good. There was one scene in the anime where it looked like the video was on 2048p video quality. I felt like I was living in the solo leveling universe and watching the scene unfold. The scene is from season 2, episode 12.
Solo Leveling’s plot is also awesome and typical. The anime starts out with the weakest hunter of all mankind. He had 10 magic power, but others had at least 70 magic power or more. The main character, Sung Jinwoo, goes to a dungeon one day with a strike squad. They discover the dungeon is a double dungeon. They voted on if they should go in or not. Jinwoo is the deciding factor, and he says yes. They went inside and saw a lot of massive stone statues. They saw a commandment tablet that said: “revere God, worship god, and prove your faith.”
Skipping a few days, Jinwoo wakes up fully healed after getting stabbed and almost dying while doing the third commandment. A few chapters later, he realizes it is called the system, and he can level up forever. He gets a dungeon key and goes to the subway. He almost dies but succeeds. After going out, he hears of a dungeon break. He helps the hunters defeat the boss.
A lot of chapters later, he goes to a dungeon and gets betrayed, so he has to protect his companion while fighting the boss and 8 hunters. A book later, he has to fight another person who is assassin class, and he has to protect his companions again. A few books later, he is announced S-rank. The Korean hunters plan to do the fourth Juju raid, and Jinwoo helps them complete it.
In Solo Leveling, there is real character development. The main character starts out relatively weak and starts to get stronger like in some other anime such as The Rising of the Shield Hero.
