“Wake up, sleepy pants!” Natilie yelled while shaking me around.
“Okay, okay, I’m awake! Geez!” I said tiredly.
“Get up faster! We got to go find our friend,” Natilie said. “Today I think we should eat some granola bars and yogurt for breakfast.” I nodded my head and we sat down on a nearby log, watching the sun rise in the sky. After we finished our breakfast, we both got ready to start our adventure into fire tribe territory.
“Did you get the Map of Destiny?” I asked as I was packing to go. Natilie held up the map to signal that she had. I took the map from her hand to check if the red dot was still there. It was the same as we left it last night.
“Wait, before we head in: Won’t we stand? Because look what we’re wearing. They might not welcome us with open arms,” I said worriedly.
“Oh! Nice catch, glad I brought red clothing for both of us,” Natilie said, looking very proud of herself. She took out exact copies of our clothes, but they were red with flaming designs.
“My mom made it just in case we needed it,” said Natilie. We changed into the clothes, packed all our things and headed towards the fire tribe market. I pulled out the Map of Destiny and saw that the red dot was moving away from us and into a building. I pointed at the building that the dot was in. Suddenly, there was a label on top of the building that said “Lava Rock.” As we were walking, I showed Natilie the building label. When she saw it she had a confused face wondering where it came from.
“How did you do that? It wasn’t there before,” she said. I explained the situation to her.
“Basically, you’re telling me when we point to a building, it shows you what it is called,” Natalie said. I nodded my head. “Well let’s go,” she said. Natalie grabbed my hand and ran toward our destination. After more than half-way we got tired and took a quick drink of water. We walked the rest of the way.
“How are we going to approach him?” I asked.
“Maybe we should introduce ourselves to him and tell him all about the map, and your dream, and stuff,” Natilie said in a shaky tone. I kept on walking and bumped into someone and fell to the floor. I looked up and saw it was one of the fire elves and he was lending me a hand. He had flowing hair, and wore a red traditional shirt and red pants. I took his hand and I stood up looking embarrassed. Natilie grabbed me by the shoulder and showed me the map. “He’s the one.”
