It has been 2 days of summer and I’m still frustrated

about the slime situation. I have added too much water inside

this clay that it has stuck to my desk and begun to turn bigger

over these past 2 days. I tried to throw some away, but it

never works because it just keeps becoming bigger. My

mom tried washing the slime off, but it doesn’t work like

other slimes.

One day my friend (Mika) was over for a while, and we tried

making the slime come off my desk but again it didn’t work. “I

have an idea just try to get the slime off the table and throw it

away in the lake!” Mika said., “But isn’t that called littering?” I

asked., “Hmm, it is but we can try it??” Mika said again. “I’m

pretty sure I have tried it many times already.” I said., “But

one more try couldn’t hurt, would it?” asked Mika., “Sure I

guess.” I said.

In my mind I slightly disagreed with this but,

anything that me or Mika thinks off we usually just do it. We

filled a small bucket with the slime. It was already big since a

whole week has passed by. “Alright I’m pretty sure that this is

enough now.” said Mika a, swinging her curly hair over her

shoulder “Now do you want to bike to the lake or drive??”

“Probably drive since the lake is about 10 minutes away from

us and its hot.” I replied, “Okay sure.” Mika always bikes to

my house because her house is 7 minutes away. My mom

drove us to the lake. “Honey are you sure this is a great

idea??” My mom asked, she has been saying this over the last

few minutes when we were driving to the lake. “Yes of

course.” Me and Mika shut the car door and ran over to the

lake with the bucket of slime. We dumped the slime out and

watched it flow away into the distance. We tried emptying

out the small bucket, but the slime was just stuck in there.

I didn’t mind at all though. A few days later my mom cleaned

the slime off my desk. It wasn’t growing there anymore. But

guess what? It was growing in the small bucket. At least it

wasn’t growing on my desk. “We could just throw the bucket

away??” Mom said, “Well you’re right.” “Agreed.”
