I smile away my tears that fall,

Showing no weakness at all.

All the pictures and videos I take,

Look great but without the mask they are fake.

The mask we wear hides ourselves,

So I don’t get judged by someone else,

To protect my health,

To cover my true self.

One day I’ll pull my mask off,

And toss it to the sky,

I’ll show my true self,

And keep my head up high
