There was a little girl lost in the woods.

They had contained many dangerous things.

She heard creeping behind her where she stood,

And as she turned around, she saw something.

It looked tall and dark, standing in the night,

She could not scream, looking in his dark eyes.

It stood over her as his eyes grew bright;

She sprinted away, not wanting to die.

She ran away as footsteps followed her.

It was getting late as the sky grew dark;

Something rushed at her, it was a big bird.

She screamed when she fell into the tree bark;

Everything got dark, she awoke, it seemed.

And she realized that it was just a dream.
