New AirPods Pro 3rd Generation can Translate
Recently, Apple released new AirPods Pro 3, which include some major upgrades. Not just better noise reduction, sound improvement, etc, but seriously major updates.
There are many times when you travel to foreign countries and try to communicate with local people. Usually, if you do not understand each other’s language, you would have to use an app like Google Translate to help. Most of the time, that comes with the hassle of one of you speaking your language to the phone for the other person.
You can now leave this hassle behind! The new update to Apple’s AirPods Pro 3 includes artificial intelligence that provides real-time translations. This way, you can better understand the other person when having conversations. With just a simple motion, everything another person says in a different language translates to you from the AirPods.
As the person speaks, Siri, Apple’s virtual assistant, acts as an interpreter, converting what they say into your ears. After reviewing the transcript on your phone, the translation is highly accurate with some minor mistakes, such as mixing up “he“ with “she.“
This impressive new update allows AI to work almost perfectly, bringing many benefits. For many years, people have struggled with using translation apps/websites like Google Translate. They often required significant effort to use and proved to be inaccurate. Meanwhile, AirPods only require a simple movement, and within a second, the translation will come through your ears.
They are also very easy to connect. To obtain the feature, you must ensure your phone is updated to the latest iOS 26 and activate Apple Intelligence. An iPhone 15 or later requires activating this since it involves Apple Intelligence. You can also do this on the previous AirPods Pro 2 or AirPods 4 as long as you update the software.
