In this essay, I describe my second trip to Ohio. But unlike my account of my first trip, this time I was not pleased on the airplane!
At 9:30, I woke up. I got dressed in 8 seconds, thinking it was going to be a wonderful trip. I brushed my teeth for 2 minutes and ate breakfast. After that, my little brother and I decided to go for a walk and buy some groceries while my mom continued to pack. After we came back, my mom was already done packing. My dad also woke up and repeated the same process that I did, excluding going for a walk and buying groceries. Next, my dad drove us to the airport. That ride gave me nausea! Who else gets car sickness?
After the ride, we went inside the airport. There, my mom checked in and bought a ticket. There was bad news and good news coming our way. The bad news was that there was a long line. The good news was that the line was moving pretty fast. However, it still took us 20 minutes to get through it. Big sad! After we got in, we had to put all our stuff in a big bin. (I mean, don’t airports all do that? I’m not going to talk about it much. It’s literally the same thing everyone has experienced.) Once we arrived at gate 41, we had to sit in one of the booths. Man, did that take long. Even getting inside the airplane took a long time, since my little brother was still a baby.
Around 2:30, we got onto the airplane, and (finally) sat down on our seats. I wanted to sit next to the window seat, but my little brother was already there. Besides, even if I wanted to sit with him, my mom wouldn’t have let me because he was a baby and I couldn’t really control him since he wouldn’t cooperate with me.
We were taking off, but this time it was more relaxing than the previous flight we’d been on to Ohio. We landed around 3:47; the plane actually flew faster than we expected it to be. The estimated local time was 4:20. Our uncle, again, picked us up. We arrived at my grandparents’ house. But guess what! Here I am writing this story while it happened today!
