A Monday made for a parade.

Red, white, blue, and boom!

Many people were celebrating.

Seats being placed by the road,

empty,

But soon full.

Cars going vroom and people going woo,

People in cars and on horses too,

Motorcycles, drums, and music,

Old cars and race cars,

Instruments and costumes.

Loud booms at night,

With several different colors.

Although It was short,

It was a time to be alive.
