Iran repairing facilities

In February 2026, Iran rapidly repaired missile facilities at the Shahrud missile base, while reconstruction at the Natanz and Isfahan nuclear facilities proceeded more slowly. This damage stemmed from airstrikes launched against Iran by Israel and the United States in June 2025.

During a 12-day military operation, the United States and Israel deployed combat aircraft and launched long-range precision-guided weapons to strike multiple key targets within Iran. Notably, the experimental fuel enrichment plant at the Natanz nuclear facility sustained severe damage, while several facilities at the Isfahan Nuclear Technology Center were destroyed. Concurrently, the solid-fuel missile production base located in Shahroud was also bombed, resulting in a significant short-term impact on Iran’s nuclear and missile programs.

Currently, Iran has begun repairing some of its damaged facilities. Satellite imagery reveals that certain buildings at the Shahroud Missile Test Center have been reconstructed and returned to operational status, while damaged structures at the Natanz have been re-roofed. Additionally, sections of the Isfahan Nuclear Technology Center have been covered, and the protection of its underground tunnels has been reinforced. These developments indicate that Iran is gradually restoring its missile capabilities while simultaneously enhancing the concealment and protection of its nuclear facilities.
