How to Plant a Tree
To plant a tree, you, of course, need to get one first. It could be a cutting from another tree, or a small tree growing that you bought from a local gardening store. Typically, you would buy a fruit tree, so when it was older, it could repay you with its fruit. However, you could also buy a regular tree just to brighten up the place.
Once you have the tree, you have to dig a hole to put the tree’s roots in. It should be a little less deep than the roots of the tree are tall. That way, the tree will grow on a mound, which you would then dig out the middle of to make a shallow bowl-shaped indent in the dirt for water to slide in. It should also be wider than the roots of the tree and the dirt that the tree is already connected to.
Fill in the hole with fertilizer for the tree to grow in. This way, the tree can use the nutrients in the dirt to grow faster. To take care of the tree, make sure it gets decent water and sunshine and trim it yearly, ideally after it has stopped fruiting.
