In fields of gold, a spirit bright,

A loyal heart, a shining light.

With fur of sun, a gleaming hue,

The Golden Retriever, strong and true.

With eyes so warm, a gentle gaze,

They brighten up life’s darkest days.

A friend to all, both big and small,

They spread their love, they give their all.

Through meadows green, they bound and play,

Their joyful spirits lead the way.

With every step, a wagging tail,

Their exuberance will never fail.

In lakes and rivers, they delight,

They swim with grace, a wondrous sight.

Their love for water runs so deep,

They’re like a dream, a soulful leap.

With children, they’re a playful mate,

A guardian who won’t abate.

Their patience knows no boundaries,

They’re the keepers of sweet memories.’

In times of sorrow, they’re a balm,

A soothing presence, bringing calm.

They sense the ache within our soul,

And make our broken spirits whole.

Through sunsets gold and twilight’s hue,

Their love remains forever true.

With hearts of gold, forever bound,

In every wag, a love profound.

So let us celebrate and cherish,

These furry souls that never perish.

The Golden Retriever’s love is so pure,

A treasure that will be forever endured.
