A Surge Of Emotions

Sometimes I feel happy,
Like the light around the world.
Other times,
I feel crappy.
Just as crappy as a whirl of cold wind,
Like the shadows around the world.
But I also feel disappointment.
Specifically when I have a doctor’s appointment.
Especially when I have to get a shot.
But at the end,
I have a spot somewhere,
Some place.
The Trees In A Forest
The trees in the forest are like jellyfish
Calming like the sound of waves.
Dangerous when harmed.
My Favorite Animal 🙂
My favorite animals are jellyfish.
They are like hidden danger.
I once read a book about jellyfish.
It was called,
“The Thing About Jellyfish.”
The moment I started reading the book.
I loved it.
It was like the wind on a cold day
Invisible, chilling.
But still providing support to humans.
Jellyfish are funny.
They do not have a brain.
Nor do many of them own any eyes.
But they are still living.
Even though they are 95% water.
They are living sea creatures.
They do not attack.
They only do so if you touch them.
I think that is similar to myself.
I do not try to argue or hurt anyone,
Unless they harm me first.
Maybe that is why,
Jellyfish are my favorite.
Loving House Pets
Dogs are fun,
Like a jog in the morning.
It is very refreshing to have a dog.
Cats are quiet but comforting.
Silent but impacting.
Like the shooting stars in the night sky,
Turtles are companions.
Animals are high maintenance,
But
Having a comforting friend from that
is very rewarding.

Through every situation,
You were there for me.
Whether it was during school
Or after school.
You would sit by me
And give me a warm hug.
Even though our friendship hasn’t even been a full year
I’m glad to have been able to met you.
You and Remy have been my highlight of 7th grade.
Through every accomplishment and mistake.
I hope we will all be friends.
For as long as possible.
