Throughout the course of (more than less modern) modern history, many celebrities have often found themselves lacking privacy once they have become famous to a certain degree. Many people, including fans and haters, will always be able to find out sensitive information, such as where they live, their phone number, online profiles, and more. There have been many instances where this issue became dangerous. Social media only worsens the regularity of these unsafe encounters.
For example, an obsessed fan, Matthew Hughes, repeatedly trespassed into famous rapper Eminem’s property. It got so bad The situation worsened to the point that Eminem had to hired security guards and obtained a restraining order against Matthew. It was only when Matthew trespassed once more, despite the active restraining order, that he was locked up for a longer period. since The last couple of times he was apprehended were only misdemeanors. Another example was when Britney Spears married an old friend of hers as a joke. This eventually spiraled out of control because of his obsession with the fame that came with marrying Britney. When you are famous, everyone wants to be close to you. Due to this, many experience the loss of privacy. These incidents were very serious. Moreover however, these things situations could happen again and it could end very badly. Furthermore, social media also boosts celebrity fame, but comes with many dangers. People online have so many ways to do bad things commit crimes and invade one’s privacy, such as like doxing, hacking, botting, and more etc (Avoid using etc. in writing as it is too informal). These things contribute to the celebrities’ overall safety risk and loss of privacy of the celebrities. There are so many people out there and when it comes to bad people, lots of them don’t even need a reason other than attention to do horrible things.
Others may argue that because these people chose to become famous (since many singers and artists literally need to be more or less famous to earn a living), they sacrificed their privacy. However, we are all humans. Since they celebrities have talent in these areas subjects, they are going to capitalize on it. Moreover, many singers and artists need fame to earn a living. So, to argue say that these people who are doing what most people are, sacrificed their privacy for a job, is wrong in many different ways.

However, some little things you can do are report the people who do these bad things (doxing, negative comments, or early signs of them doing something bad) online. As long as there is positivity, there exists negativity. The best thing you can do is to not contribute to either side or choose to contribute to the positive side.
