An Interesting Box
One day, Ben and I went to our mom’s friend’s house. We walked her dog Scooby. He was excited, and he started digging in our backyard.
Then, while Scooby was digging, he barked so loud. We felt like the dog needed help, so we checked. Then Ben and I saw what had happened. The dog had dug too deep, and he couldn’t get out of the hole.
5 minutes later, we realized that the only way we could get Scooby out was to call 9-1-1.
10 minutes later, the police arrived and got a rope and a big bucket that Scooby could fit in. The idea worked! But after Scooby got out, there was a box on the bottom of the hole. And, on top of the box, there were my brother‘s and my names. The hand writing looked just like Ben‘s. The box looked like the one Ben and I made to put old pennies and cool coins in.
After we got the box out of the hole, we looked around the box before we opened it. When we opened it, there was a necklace for Ben and one for me. The necklaces weren’t random, they had names on them. They had many colors on them. Ben’s was red, yellow, green, and blue. Mine was the same, but the color of the necklace’s charm was different. It was red, while it was blue for Ben‘s. Then, Ben and I put them on.
While we were wearing them, we felt like the necklaces were heavy and strange. So I touched on the color red, and it gave me giant hands that had fire busting out.
Then, I realized that who ever put the necklaces in the box and buried it is a person that has magic. So I thought and thought until some thing hit me. It was my grandma! Then I looked back in the box. It had a tiny note that said: “Congrats! I gave you twins this because it is your birthday gift, and in the future, you will be on your own. Love, grandma.” So I was correct that it was from her. I knew because her sisters were magic healers, who also went to battle monsters.
