Once upon a time, three kings ruled three kingdoms with each ruling over one. The fiercest king, John, ruled over the kingdom of Spear. Jack, the cruelest, ruled over the kingdom of Bow. And lastly, Eric, the most fearful of the three, ruled over the kingdom of Sword. Each of these kingdoms was only good at one kind of fighting. John, Jack, and Eric were brothers, and they all only had one grandfather. His name was Rylie, and he was 87 years old.

One day, a messenger came to John’s house and told him that his grandfather died. The messenger told him that he had left a will next to his desk.

“The will said that one of you and your brothers will be inheriting his land,” the messenger said. John immediately summoned all his soldiers and rushed to the scene.

When he got there, his other brothers had already gotten there. They all asked each other why they’d come, and everybody said that a messenger had sent them here. They all wanted the land, so they started fighting. People from Bow shot arrows while those from Sword swung swords and those from Spear wielded spears. They fought and fought for hours, and countless people died in the chaos.

When they finished fighting, it was clear that John had won, so the other brothers backed off and went home. John was happy that he had won. He searched the place for treasures until he found a little house. The house was old and rundown, but when he opened a door inside he found a treasure chest filled with jewels. John used the money to help poor people in the new kingdom, and then he took the rest home and locked it in a closet. The kingdom was very rich and happy after that.
