BTS, Sabrina Carpenter, and HUNTR/X Win Big at the American Music Awards
BTS, Sabrina Carpenter, and HUNTR/X were the big winners in this year’s American Music Awards (AMA), each taking away three awards.
BTS, with the artist of the year award, and Sabrina Carpenter won the largest prizes. HUNTR/X won for the song of the year, “Golden”, the best soundtrack, the KPop Demon Hunters‘ soundtrack, and the best pop song, also “Golden”.
BTS is described as the biggest K-Pop band in the world. The leader of the band thanked their fans all over the world, since artist of the year is a fan-voted award. Sabrina Carpenter won the award for best female artist and the album of the year award for “Man’s Best Friend”.
However, while Taylor Swift was nominated eight awards, she didn’t get a single one this year. She still holds the record for most AMAs in a career, with forty awards.
