ICE incident in Minnesota

On Friday, officials were asked to investigate the tragic shooting perpetrated by ICE. 2 days ago, an ICE federal officer shot and killed Nicole Good.

Even after the fatal shooting by ICE, immigration officers stayed in Minneapolis, and everything in the city had spun out of control from there. Schools were shut down, and officials wanted the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension to investigate the incident to bring justice. But then, the state was redrawing the case because the investigators were blocked on evidence that would be essential to the case.

Mayor Jacob Frey said that everyone needed to accept the truth and everyone needed to know the truth. He says this because the city of Minneapolis wants a documented truth about what really happened and who was truly at fault in this incident. Kristi Noem, Minnesota’s secretary, said that since the investigators had no proof or evidence, it would be hard to hand over criminal charges to ICE about what they had done. But then, the officials found out that Mrs. Good was a U.S. citizen who was unlawfully harmed,

At this point in the investigation, Minneapolis was in a ton of chaos about what had happened. So much so that protesters against ICE surrounded a federal agent’s building. This escalated so far that the agent literally had to shoot pepper balls at the protesters. But then, it was reported that something similar to Mrs. Good’s incident happened in Portland. Two people were shot by ICE at the border patrol in what they call a vehicle stop. Protests were very large in Minnesota at this point, and everyone wants justice for what happened to Mrs. Good.

The shooting came after disagreements, rhetorical, and even furious arguments between democrats and the white house. After the incident of Mrs. Good, 2000 federal officers will come to Minnesota to arrest even more illegal immigrants who might be hiding in Minnesota. Then, they finally figured out what really happened. Mrs. Good was driving in her SUV when suddenly, agents stopped her. She disobeyed and drove away, so the agents opened fire on her. Officers have remained in Minnesota, detecting illegal immigrants. Because of this, people have been scared to leave their houses or go anywhere.
