The flee of the century
The cloudy and rainy sky reflected my mood as I walked through the streets of Manhattan, New York. My long-used tricks are now catching up to me.
“Our security has found out that you have been copying information from other websites and hacking the database,” my boss said.
“How could you just accuse me and have no proof?” said I.
“Our security has been looking in your search history and discovered records of you copying from random sources,” said my boss.
I needed to escape.

The next morning, I booked the earliest flight to London, England, my hometown. I booked a taxi to the airport, and when I arrived, I was so scared that I would be caught trying to escape the country. Somehow, not a single security guard suspected a thing.

So I boarded my flight to London and thought that everything was in the clear, but little did I know, it was not. So, I thought I landed in London, but I was wrong. “Attention passengers,” said the flight crew, “We are very close to landing in Seoul, South Korea.”

I thought I had gone deaf. Seoul, South Korea? I thought maybe I misheard, but I did not. When the plane landed, I really was at the Incheon International Airport in Seoul, South Korea. I was doomed.
See, I heard one of the employees working at my company heard about me, and he was sent to South Korea because the company knew I was going to try to flee the country by going to the other side of the world. If he sees me, I will get deported back to the U.S and be locked up in prison. I wandered around the airport, wondering what I should do next. I knew I had to keep a low profile, but soon enough, he found me.
“Where do you think you are going?” asked the employee.

I tried to run and buy an airplane ticket to Europe. All of them were sold out today. I tried to run as fast as I could, but he eventually caught up to me. I was then reported to an official at the airport, and sent back to the U.S for a trial there. I was brought into an official airplane, and I was flown back to New York, keeping away from the life I could have had.
