Hurricane Ragasa Blows Over Parts of Asia
The hurricane hit the Babuyan and Batanes islands in the Philippines, up north, on September 22nd. Hurricane Ragasa then moved to eastern Taiwan, the Guangfu township. 10 people were killed, and 7 people are still missing. The hurricane then moved to Hong Kong on September 24. Giant waves from the bay flooded roads, stopping cars, buses, and automobiles. It also closed buildings like schools and businesses. The hurricane swept into southern China, Guangdong province. Winds were up to 120 miles per hour, and landfalls were made. Finally, the hurricane ended in Vietnam and broke into a tropical storm. The hurricane finally ended on September 25, 2025.
Recovery and clean-up are in progress in all the places the hurricane has damaged. In the Philippines, people are reopening roads. In Taiwan, rescue teams are searching for lost people. People from all the places affected by Hurricane Ragasa are being helped.
