Bloodshed tears,
Aching cries,
It’s all in the name of pain.

Unbearable famine,
Unquenchable thirst,
It’s all in the name of starvation.

Screams of fear,
Wails of terror,
It’s all in the name of scares.

Tears streaming down,
Arms wrapped around,
It’s all in the name of desperation.

Sorrowful mourning,
Last goodbyes,
It’s all in the name of evacuation.

Forced fleeing,
Heartbeat racing,
It’s all in the name of refuge seeking.

Tragic loss,
Endless grief,
It’s all in the name of war.
