Monsters University is a Disney film about two “monsters” who start out as enemies become friends when they end up on the same scaring team. The film starts off with Mike Wazsowski (a stout one-eyed green monster) on his first day of university. He decides to enter scaring class. As he enters the class he meets his new rival, Sullivan. After they both failed scaring class Mike wanted to prove the principle wrong so he entered another program – the scarring competition. There were 6 teams and 5 rounds, each of which dealt with skills relating to being a master scarer. When the principal heard he was entering the scarring competition she said that if he wins, he and his whole team would be rewarded. Mike was on the same team as Sully ( Sullivan’s nickname ) and 3 other members. Their team name was “OK” and they were determined to win. Every day they would wake up at 6:00am and practice all day. They made it to the finals, but at the finals Sully cheated because he thought Mike wasn’t scary enough to win the final round. Mike wanted to prove that he was good enough so he went into the door station which was the portal to the human world to show that he could be scary in the real world–not just in fake scenarios. And while Mike gets in trouble Sully saves him. Even though Mike was kicked out of Monsters University he was still happy.
