Trump Clears Homeless

Since he is doing this in Washington, DC, he might move to do this across the country for a “safer” and “more beautiful” place for the people to live in.

According to BBC News, the reason he is doing this is for an anti-crime campaign. Crime spiked in 2023, and this may be the reasoning behind his actions. Although the crime now in recent two years is the lowest in 30 years because of the persistent fight against it, he is still kicking people out of their homes.

The homeless don’t completely cover the spike in crime in 2023, but they played a key part. As it was a chaotic period in our country with the unexpected hit of Covid, some of them took advantage of that to commit crimes, such as robbing a store, burglary, and motor oil theft because of the increase in prices. Although they didn’t steal a lot of motor oil, according to Loss Prevention Magazine, because most of them don’t own motor vehicles, they still did the other two at increased rates.

Even though Trump claims that he is taking away the homes of the homeless for a safer and more beautiful America, he might just be using data from previous years to justify his claims to do so, using his control over the police for anti-crime.
