Toy Story 5 is Coming

The Toy Story movies have captured the imaginations of fans all over the world, and big detail of the fifth movie that will come out in 2026. It revealed what the movie was going to be about and the villain in the story.

Last year, Disney revealed that the Toy Story gang will be back. Staying pretty quiet since then, it recently revealed that the villain would be Lily Pad, a tablet looking to lower Bonnie’s attention span and to gain her affection.

While we still don’t know a lot about the film, it looks like a fight between the new and old worlds. Toys were a big part of kids in the 2010s, but now children prefer phones and tablets.

The original voice cast will be back with Tom Hanks voicing Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear, and Joan Cusack as Jesse. There will also be a new character called Smarty Pants. Smarty Pants will be played by TV host and comedian Conan O’Brien.

The previous Toy Story movies have revolved around friendship, abandonment, and learning to accept new things. In the first movie, Woody is jealous of Buzz Lightyear, a new toy that Andy bought. In the second movie, Woody is stolen by a toy collector. In the third one, Andy is going to college and donates his toys to a little girl called Bonnie, but not before the toys end up in a daycare run by an evil teddy bear. In the final movie, Woody goes on a road trip with Bonnie.

The past movies have gained a lot of love from fans. Besides Toy Story, Pixar has been making its movie plots revolve around the modern world, with Inside Out 2 being about teenage life.
