Warrior Cats: Final Book: The Darkest Hour

The Darkest Hour is a five-star read; it draws the reader in, makes the page-turner unable to be put down, and has a happy ending. In this book, Fireheart, now the leader of ThunderClan, must face his destiny and save his clan from Tigerstar’s evil plans. Tigerstar’s quest for power has put the forest on the brink of a deadly battle, and Fireheart must uncover the meaning of a prophecy from StarClan to save his friends and clan: “Four will become two. Lion and tiger will meet in battle, and blood will rule the forest.”

Tigerstar later teams up with a group of rogue cats led by a merciless killer, Scrouge, and later regrets it. The villain also releases a group of wild dogs into the forest, killing Bluester, the old leader of Thunderclan, and making Firestar the new leader.

This book has a happy ending, wrapping the story up and satisfying the reader with the series. This story would be incomplete without all of the six books and will make a very good source of entertainment, taking your eyes off of the digital, computerized world and revealing a new way to keep from getting bored. The intense battle breaks the moment of peace and gives the reader a fresh palette of emotions to experience. These books also use literary devices, like similes, and have new words for the reader to understand.

Overall, this was an awesome read, having a roller coaster of emotions for the reader to experience, and if you want to take a trip to another world, Warriors is alway sitting on your shelf, waiting to take you on a journey!
