Every leaf, every petal

Completes the entire flower.

So colorful, each so unique

I could watch them for an hour.

There are red ones, yellow ones

And even those that are blue.

There are many kinds

Lilacs, irises, and roses too!

As more and more bloom

More start to wilt.

The beauty fades, it dies

Until the flower is no longer gilt.

From seeds so small

To a vast variety of colors so bold.

The Jasmines glow

And the sunflowers gold.
