Once upon a time, there was a girl named Cindy. She was kind and had good manners. Unfortunately, her mother and Cindy’s stepsisters treated poor Cindy like a slave. They would make her do all the household chores and if she made a mistake, they would make a big deal out of it and yell at her.
“Clean this up Cindy! It is a mess like you!” Cindy’s stepmother yelled.
“Ha-ha you’re not just ugly, but also dirty too!” Aella, one of the stepsisters, laughed.
Cindy cleaned up the leftover food that they dropped onto the floor. “Disgusting mother, sickening sister!” Cindy whispered under her breath as she cleaned up yet another mess. Then Aella approached her and said “Ha-ha, sorry about that. Here’s 100,000 dollars for you!”
Cindy looked at Aella confused. “Really? Wow! You’re very nice!”
Cindy held the money in her hand, in shock of Aella’s out of character kindness. Then Aella yelled out: “Mom! Sister Cindy stole your wallet that has $100,000 inside!”
“WHAT! CINDY GO TO YOUR ROOM THIS INSTANT!” Tindy, Cindy’s stepmother yelled.
Cindy’s face was shocked and then full of filled with rage. She stomped her dirty feet and shut the door as hard as she could. In Cindy’s room a little white mouse made a sound. “SQUEAK!” The little mouse used her tiny hands and hugged Cindy’s face.
“Oh Daisey! You’re the best friend I could have ever asked for. Wo-”
“CINDY COME DOWN RIGHT NOW!” Aella yelled “DO MY HAIR, FOLD MY CLOTHES, AND ALL THE OTHER CHORES YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO HAVE ALREADY DONE!
Cindy went down to where Aella was. She braided her sister’s shiny blonde hair and tied it. Cindy helped Aella’s dress unwrinkled too.
“What is all this fancy stuff for?” Cindy asked,
“Mom got an invitation to a party. Whoever is named the prettiest becomes a princess! That’s why I’m trying my best to become the world’s prettiest girl in the competition!”
“Oh, may I come?” Cindy asked
“Uhhh, okay?” replied Aella.
After Cindy was done helping Aella dress-up, she did the same for herself.
She went into her room and made a bow out of ribbons. After that she finished making a beautiful red dress.
“Wow, I do look quite pretty!” Cindy said to herself.
Tindy yelled out “GIRLS, IT’S TIME TO GO OUT!” Cindy walked down the stairs as fast as she could.
After a while, when the ladies arrived. Cindy’s mother and sister ran inside but when Cindy went inside, she found her true love. The prince Jake locked eyes with Cindy. They both beamed at each other. He walked towards her, and Cindy did the same, until she passed him by and walked towards the cake that was directly behind him.
“MY LOVE MY FOOD AHHHH NOM CHOMP MMM YUMMY!” Cindy was full of happiness while the prince Jake was full of sadness.
