Have you ever been mesmerized while listening to an audiobook because of the narrator’s amazing voice? The article That Voice You’re Hearing? It Might Be Hers. by Katherine Rosman, focuses on the former child actress and narrator of many stories, Julia Whelan. I really enjoyed the content and structure of the article, which is why I would rate this a five out of five, because of the organization, the thorough details, and the author’s consistency.

The first reason behind my rating is due to the article’s organizational structure. Unlike any other articles that I have read thus far, this article does an amazing job with quote placement. She also includes subtitles to emphasize the main points for certain portions of the article. This allows both me and other readers to understand more about Julia Whelan, and the article’s content. Other articles may put scattered information, but Rosman avoids that.

Rosman also includes an abundance of details. I really enjoyed reading this story, since it was partially a biography of a woman who has been through a journey of success throughout her whole life. Furthermore, the author does a great job of concluding the article, restating what she wrote at the beginning, like an essay.

Lastly, the author stays on-topic. Thus far, Rosman has done one of the best jobs on staying on-topic out of all of the articles I’ve read. While other authors may write a biography that switches from one character to another, even when it’s a family member, it ruins the whole point. However, Rosman shines a light on Whelan’s life, providing mostly information about her life and only a little bit of information on who she married.

In conclusion, these are the three reasons behind my rating of five out of five. The author organizes the article in a great way, includes descriptive context, and stays on-topic. I was very satisfied with every piece of information and every point that the author, Katherine Rosman, has included in her article. Pieces of writing that leave me wanting to know more always deserve a high rating.
