Nature

It provides food for all

Plenty of water

Ample shelter

Many resources

And a way for organisms to (somewhat) peacefully coexist.

Until humans came

And developed

Made languages

Built cities

Fought wars

They took more than their share of nature

Did they give back to it?

They killed more than necessary

Polluted beautiful landscapes

Destroyed ecosystems for their own gain

They can try to help

But unless they all work harder

It is impossible.

“All men were created equal” but

What about animals? Plants?

When meddling with the frivolous problems

Of their own societies, people

Forget to see

The bigger picture.
