Today, my mom is going to take me swimming! I am quite excited because today is a sunny day and I know swimming will cool me down. Plus, I get to practice swimming a bit more. I’m currently 11-years-old and my swimming is level 3. Meanwhile, my swimming classmate who is a 7 or 8 or 9-year-old is level 5. At the same time, I’m not excited because my sister isn’t coming, which means that I’m going to be lonely.
Do you know what traffic lights are? Cause you better!! We were in traffic, and the green light became a red light. My mom stopped the car. A few seconds later something bumped the car. I jumped up a bit, heard a loud bumping sound, and the car went forward a bit. I thought it was just a massive rock. But I got SUS (suspicious), so I found the car behind us was too close. Do you know what that means? If you don’t know, then…sigh….it’s a car crash. I didn’t believe it at first, so I told my mom to see if it was true (It ended up being true).
That guy who crashed our car just walked out and knocked on the window. He kept on saying, “It’s ok” and he didn’t even apologize. My mom stomped out of the car while calling my dad, arguing with that guy. He said, “I don’t have any money on me right now,” which probably meant he doesn’t want to give any money. My mom asked him to at least give her his driver’s license. Believe it or not, he doesn’t even have a driver’s license! That guy’s wife came out of his car and yelled, “It’s just a tiny scratch. It’s ok!!” The wife went back to the car and my mom said that my dad is coming. That guy might’ve thought my dad is one of those buff and strong dudes. I knew that because he ran back to his car and quickly drove past us. My mom, meanwhile, took a picture of the guy’s license plate. Well, I’m pretty sure that’s illegal. Mom called 911 and parked in the Target parking lot to prevent blocking the traffic. I helped my mom a little bit because her English is not very good. The call: Blah blah blah blah (I can’t remember specifically what the lady from the phone call asked us).
Remember when I said that it was a sunny day? Well, it took the police some time to arrive, so I was SUFFERING FROM THE HEAT. My dad also came to the parking lot to help us deal with this situation. When the police finally came, my mom and dad were just talking with the police. One police officer was concerned because it was too hot and I was suffering from the heat. He read my mind. Oh, and how much I craved ice cream, boba, lemonade, or something cool and refreshing?! AT LEAST AN AIR CONDITIONER?! A FAN?! But not anymore after I saw the police wear long sleeves.
While the police were talking to my parents, I used a random piece of paper to fold a paper airplane as a sign saying ‘I’m bored. Finally, when the police were leaving, I get to go home!! OMG YES!! ICE CREAM!!! IPAD!!! AIR CONDITIONER!! OMG!!! While my mom was driving me back home, she told me how dangerous this world is. I couldn’t agree more.
When we got back home, we told everything to my sister. I went on Discord to guilt-trip everyone by telling them about what happened. I got to eat ice cream, watch satisfying cake tutorials, and COOL AIR FROM THE FAN. Those cake tutorials had cakes so smooth and perfect!
