Once upon of time,
There was a child.
Innocence bloomed in its purest of white.
A white that could be stained so easily,
That it can never go back to what it once was.
Today again, the child stands in front of me.
Haunting me, with the same expression on her face.
That smile I failed to pass on.
The me who despises tomorrow,
Face to face with the child full of hopes for her future.
Just what happened to this child?
Look at her once more,
She was born on a flower road
Bathed in the golden rays of the sun.
Now look at her again, a bit longer.
Why is she in a dimmed world?
Who destroyed her ignorant paradise?
See that girl’s lost fantasy?
Once upon of time,
I could not keep my promises
To that child, who smiled ever so brightly.
