One day, Oliver stood near a time machine that looked like a calculator. Then Lucas came by, eating ice cream.
“Oh! What is that?” Lucas asked.
“It’s a time machine!” said Oliver. “I could send you back to your favorite moment, your last holiday, or anytime you could imagine!”
Lucas took a slurp of ice cream. “Could it send me back to when I had three scopes of ice cream?”
“Well, it could. Until my assistant brings the time regulator,” said Oliver. “The machine won’t work without it.”
Meanwhile, Ethan, Oliver’s assistant, was playing in the playground. Suddenly, his alarm sounded.
“Oh!” said Ethan. “That’s two minutes to two o’clock. I better bring the time regulator.”
He took the time regulator and started running to Oliver.
Ethan came across David, who said, “Does anyone want to play seesaw?”
“No time now,” said Ethan.
A little later, he came to Quincy, who was skateboarding.
“Looks like a storm is coming,” said Quincy.
Then Ethan came across Henry and Michael carrying a giant box. It started to rain.
“It’s heavy,” said Henry.
“Good job. We’re strong,” said Michael.
A little later, he arrived at Oliver. Suddenly, a lightning bolt struck the tower, creating a blue portal that sent Oliver back in time.
“Where did Oliver go?” asked Michael.
Ethan also got sent back in time.
He got sent back two minutes in time to where he was playing. He started running toward Ethan.
When he came across David, David asked, “Does anyone want to play seesaw?”
When he got to Quincy, Quincy said, “Looks like a storm is coming.
He got to Henry and Michael.

Ethan got sent back in time two minutes.
He ran to Quincy, who said, “Looks like a storm is coming,”
“Can I borrow your skateboard?” Ethan asked.
“Go for it, dude!” said Quincy.
Ethan skateboarded to Oliver, but they both got sent back in time after lightning struck the tower.
Ethan decided to go faster toward Oliver, but forgot to bring the time regulator.
Once he reached Oliver, he said, “I got it,”
“Then where is it?” asked Oliver.
Ethan noticed that he didn’t bring the time regulator.
“Erm, funny story,” he said. “I forgot to pick it up.”
Oliver got sent back in time.
“Forgot to bring the time regulator, forgot to bring the time regulator,” Ethan said.
He got sent back in time.
Ethan went again, not giving up. When he reached Oliver, it started raining. He gave the time regulator to Oliver, who put it in like a battery.
Suddenly, the storm stopped, and it became sunny. Lucas came along.
“Come on, Ethan!” said Oliver. “Let’s go back in time!”
Oliver and Ethan went on the time machine and Oliver pressed some buttons. Suddenly, they disappeared.
“WHAT ABOUT MY ICE CREAM?!?!” Lucas cried.
“Oh! What is that?” Lucas asked.
“It’s a time machine!” said Oliver. “I could send you back to your favorite moment, your last holiday, or anytime you could imagine!”
