On the outskirts of Berlin, a search for a loose lioness has led police officers on a wild goose chase, as it turned out that the wildcat was actually a wild boar. The hunt began after two men sent the police a blurry video of what seemed to be a lion chasing a hog. Residents were quickly alerted and were told to stay inside, while the police secured the area and searched for any signs of the predator. After many experts began to analyze a photo of the so-called lioness, they all came to the same conclusion: the “lioness” was actually a pig. This incident is not the first time the people of Berlin have mistaken one animal for another. For example, misinterpreting ducks and grease for crocodiles. A search that dispatched more than 100 police officers and plenty of expensive equipment, received a rather disappointing end.
