They’ve been around longer than us

Though soon, they may disappear

Longer than we’ve stepped on this Earth,

They’ve thrived, growing and growing,

Everywhere.

Now, when you look around,

You might see one or two,

Not that much

Compared to what It used to be.

Clack, clack, clack.

The tree groans as it falls,

hitting the ground with a loud thump.

Another one has fallen.

More and more trees fall

everyday.

Some don’t realize that without trees,

humans wouldn’t even be here.

Soon, trees will be the ones

that don’t exist.
