Where Are My Roots?

I am from a busy city,
Cars rush past,
With horns ever so loud,
Everything is fast,
The people, the bikes, and even the time.
I am from a world of imagination,
My mind flies every second,
Weather it is cotton cats,
Or a land of leaves.

Am I from there?

I am from a time of being late,
I am late to school, late to classes,
And I don’t know how to improve.

Everything seems like a mess,

needing to be cleaned up altogether.
I am from a place of bird songs,
Sometimes it is a small blue jay,

While once it was a caramel.

I felt calm there,
And memories stayed there.
No, I am from my heart.
I am special,
And I am the person in my heart,
And I am growing in my heart.

I am from my heart.
