Minecraft is a revolutionary game that has been on the app store since 2009. It seems like it will be for a long time. What is all the hype about Minecraft?

In 2009, Markus Persson typed some code into his computer and created a simple block game, which was named Cave Game at the time. The game was very simple, and Persson was getting very few players playing the game at that time.

After the release of Cave Game, Persson added updates and more players joined the game. Later, Persson changed the name to“Minecraft. Over the next few years, In 2012, Minecraft hit one million players and over ten million accounts made.

In 2015, when YouTube became one of the biggest online platforms, YouTubers started posting videos about Minecraft. Minecraft’s began to go viral and later reached 100 million players.

In my opinion, the game is great. It’s not the best game, but I bet many players enjoy the game much more than I do. The game has lots of cons too, but from my perspective, I don’t see any. Overall Minecraft gets a 4.5/5.
