Of course, with freedom comes big responsibility. But the pro of free speech in America outweighs the cons.
On July 4, 1776, 13 American colonies broke free from Great Britain’s control. The prime motivations of the desire to break from Great Britain were wanting freedom and having a sense of identity. In the category of “freedom”, it’s included freedom of religion, freedom of the press, freedom to petition, etc.
