Just a few days ago, Ukraine fired multiple drones at Moscow, according to the Russian Defense Ministry. One drone that attacked Odintsovo was destroyed. The other two attacked commercial buildings before being intercepted. Several buildings were smashed and torn down, although there were no injuries. The drone attack left a trail of damage to multiple of these Russian structures.

Ukraine did not agree to take responsibility for the damage, but last week, Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, declared that they led the drone attack.

Attacks in Moscow have become more frequent over time. Ukraine still has a controlled level of self-defense, compared to Russia, which invades 24/7. Russia still uses missiles—far more powerful than the few drones that recently attacked Moscow and Odintsovo.

Russian civilians are now criticizing President Vladimir V. Putin’s decisions, because of his poor management of the war. He also caused tens of thousands to be sacrificed while invading Ukraine—something that the civilians aren’t happy about either.

On Sunday morning, the Ukrainian Air Force declared that they didn’t accept nor deny responsibility over the attack.

“They got what they wanted”, Yuri Ihnat, a Ukrainian spokesman claimed. “There is always something flying in Russia, including Moscow. Those who are not affected by the war are now affected, which creates certain moods. Russia can no longer claim it shot down everything.” Ihnat stays optimistic and believes that Ukraine has already gotten some of what they are hoping for (The New York Times).

“In the name of Russia, our seamen are giving all their strength, showing true heroism, fighting with honor, as our great forefathers,” President Putin said to convey his pride in his navy forces (The New York Times).

Ukraine’s Air Force declares that Russia had counterattacked by sending four attack drones to southern Ukraine to get revenge. A post on Telegram says that all the drones have now malfunctioned because they were intercepted, but this cannot be verified.

The conflict between Russia and Ukraine continuously fueled by attacks like these. The attacks that have already been done show that Russia and Ukraine are now going to start a new revolution; where they will fight until one slowly defeats the other.
