Timmy’s Tale
Once upon a time, there was a humpback whale,
Germany from where he hailed.
He got stranded in shallow waters on March 23rd,
An area where he may not be heard.
People noticed, found out, and felt very bad,
Then tried five times to get him back to his habitat.
Some people were worried that his health would decline,
But a week later, he seemed to be doing fine.
Even though people got mind-wrecking thoughts that he would pass away
He quickly swam happily to his cute whale friends and said hey.
People kept complaining that he was very ill
But he was energetic and lively still.
A week later, he was doing great
He and his friends had loved the food he ate.
He returned to his kin, and he made it because of fate,
Sharing fish, shrimp, and seaweed with his best friend Kate.
Animal rights organizations dislike how he was forcefully sent back
But after a week, nothing happened, and he was living with his pack.
People dislike how he was stressed
But now he is the total opposite of depressed.
Even though at first he was a bit scared
He found his family and showed that he cared.
For the people that saved him from shallow waters,
For the people that cured his wounds,
For the people that saved him from distress,
For the people that sent him back home.
