The Little World

In Disney Land, there’s a little place called the little world. Cute little dolls sit on a little structure. Everyone knows they are just dolls that can’t speak and can’t move. However, nobody knows that these dolls come to life when the last person goes to their hotels for the night. The little dolls start to move their arms slowly. The guards think it’s just the wind. Then the guards fall asleep. The dolls have cursed them to sleep until the morning.

The dolls start to move. They start to talk to other dolls. Most of the dolls are friends. Some of the dolls are not friends at all. The dolls come from different worlds, from the past and the future.

One specific doll named Mary is from America. Mary is just a doll. At night, she doesn’t come to life like the other dolls. All Mary does is watch all the other dolls play. Mary frowned sadly. Only Mary’s face can move. She wished she could move her whole entire body and come to life like the other dolls.

Then, one day when the park was just about to close, Mary finally came to life. From this day on Mary always came to life! Mary looked around. All the other dolls weren’t alive. Mary wondered why. Then a little girl came to Mary. The girl was wandering around the park when she got lost. She couldn’t find her parents. She loved dolls so she went to the Little World.

The girl wandered around looking at the dolls. Then she walked to Mary. “What a pretty doll. It’s not like anyone needs it. She’s just on display. I’m gonna keep it.” The girl said. This girl’s name was Beth. Beth felt the same as Mary. Her friends were good at tennis. Meanwhile, Beth couldn’t even pick up the tennis racket! Then on the same day she saw Mary, she could finally play tennis. Mary immediately froze when she saw the girl. Beth took Mary and ran home. Beth really liked Mary. Mary was scared of Beth.

Then, one night, Mary decided to tell Beth that she becomes alive at night. She needed to go back to her home. Mary then gathered up her courage and climbed up Beth’s bed. When Mary finally reached the top of the bed she poked Beth.

“What?” Beth asked, “Who poked me?” Then Beth looked at Mary.

“Hi,” Mary said quietly.

“Ahhhhhhh!” Beth screamed.

Beth immediately threw Mary out of the window. Mary landed on some gooey dirt. Mary thought that if someone found her they would keep her warm and safe. She would not scare the new person who found her, so she decided not to move for the rest of her life.

There Mary lies, lifeless. If you go to Disney Land and book the hotel 899, look out your window. You might find Mary but be careful. She might haunt your dreams…
