Under the ocean, there is a kingdom of coral reefs,

The splashing of waves creates a beautiful motif,

When I dip my toes into the blue ocean sea,

I feel the temperature of the ocean hit a very cold degree.

The water is so cold but that frosty feeling falls,

I hear the surveilling seagulls and their shrieking squalls,

When I plunge to see the great big reefs,

I am in total disbelief.

The assortment of life is strange, bizarre,

From the regular old fish to a peculiar sea star,

There are old sea turtles and sea horses that are quite small,

There are even some jellyfish that aren’t very tall.

But there’s one creature that’s more abundant than the rest,

The corals are places where many creatures can nest,

Throughout the reef is where coral can be found,

Inside the coral reefs, corals are found all around.

There is so much life and beauty in the ocean,

The water is clear and in motion,

While pieces of coral are sitting around all day,

Schools of fish are out to play.

Under the ocean is a kingdom of coral reefs,

It is beautiful beyond belief.
