Shortly after the New York Knick’s spectacular NBA championship victory in Madison Square Garden won by the New York Knicks, a top secret black-tie only event took place in the same area. Not the usual teenage sneak-out party, but a 1,000-guest wedding. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding.

On July 3rd, 2026, over 50 large trucks were spotted gathered around the Garden. After months of preparation, the long awaited couple finally decided to marry in the silliest yet most loving way imaginable. Within four days, the once action-packed basketball court transformed into a “garden inside a garden.” Many believed the party would be nature themed from the many sightings of trees, flowers, and other nature-related objects delivered to the stadium.
However, the stage was far more spectacular than a man-made forest. Casting aside the bride and groom, world famous stars attended the wedding: from famous singers like Selena Gomez and Ed Sheeran, to actors such as Brad Pitt and Tom Hanks, and even athletes including Joe Buck and Jack Sock. The arena capable of seating over 20,000 people managed to create one of the most magical experiences for the thousand guests in attendance.
Of course, with all the time and money spent on one special night, why not create an environment like home? Accompanied by dozens of pizza, donut, and cheesesteak trucks, dinner was served by the handpicked restaurant Sartiano’s. They restaurant worked directly with the couple to create the family style menu including: “meatballs, caviar cannoli, stuffed paccheri pasta, spaghetti arrabiata and focaccia with whipped ricotta.” Choosing to embrace the family-style menu, the marriage ceremony was slightly altered as well. Instead of including bridesmaids and groomsmen, everyone on stage were family members. The only exception was Adam Sandler who is a longtime friend of the couple and officiated the ceremony. Traditional vows were also replaced with personal speeches written by Taylor and Travis individually; each lasted around 20 minutes. With Taylor Swift’s song “Love Story” playing in the background, the couple were told to repeatedly kiss shortly after completing their vows.
As the night came to a close, guests began leaving and another magical moment was made at Madison Square Garden. A newly married couple had emerged.
