On July 8th of 2026, a difficult mission was started to save a telescope , when NASA and realized that their valuable Swift telescope is falling to Earth.

The Swift telescope is very valuable; NASA spent 500 million dollars on the scope. At first, the scope was only thought originally to last for only 2 years. However right now Swift has lasted for 21 years. During these 21 years, Swift has made lots of important observations such as, detecting comets, observed gamma rays, mapped gas around black holes, spotted and detected x rays around black holes, discovered thousands of

Swift falls too low, it will burn up in the atmosphere. So now, Katalyst and NASA scientists have constructed a satellite called, Link. but in theory It was supposed to take a few years to build, but in a year, Link was completed.

The three-robotic-arm satellite, was immediately launched next Friday. During the launch, Link was carried in an aircraft, until the aircraft was 12,200 meters (400,00 feet) in the air. Then, the satellite was heading towards space with its three booster rockets.

Now link heads towards Swift with Link’s robotic arms, but swift was not designed to be held by another satellite. But Link will push swift up for some time going up and up, until they are (600 kilometers 373 miles), that meant the if push was successful that in theory would now let Swift last 10 more years.
