Summary of Nightash

Nightash is a novel I wrote a month ago in my novel class. It talks about an eight-year-old boy named Flame. He lived on a mountain the whole life, all by himself. Flame didn’t know where his parents were, so he really wanted to find them.

One day, Flame went out hunting and met a boy older than him named Froststorm. He had blue hair and blue eyes. He’s cold and super smart. Froststorm kind of knows everything, and he loves to read books.

Froststorm knows a place that leads to another world, and Flame decided to go. He hopes that he will find his parents there. So they went into a portal that leads to the world of monsters.

The world, which was in another dimension, is very different from the world Flame lived in. They found some traces, like houses, left by humans, and they also found a giant library. Books in the library tell about an evil ghost named Shadow, who captures people. Flame decided to defeat it, because he could save this world, and maybe he could find his parents.

Another day, Flame and Froststorm found a good dragon named Nightash, and he helped them fight Shadow. Nightshade was a black dragon with red eyes, but he was afraid of sunlight. Nightash was actually a human before, but he had been turned into a dragon.

At the ghost village, Flame wanted to use all his strength to defeat Shadow, but Nightash told them to collaborate. Froststorm knew that wind could blow ghosts into pieces, but there is no way to make wind.

Flame started to make Shadow angry, the ghost lost its control, and a storm was coming. But the storm killed itself. The world of monsters was at peace again, and Flame learned that knowledge and cleverness were also important.

Nightash turned back into a human, and he was Flame’s father. Flame went back to the mountains in the normal world and thought that a mountain was enough.
