Scottish Premiership matches and winners
Teams have been battling for the Scottish Premiership Trophy. The main ones are Hearts and Celtic.

The Hearts played against Falkirk on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. On the other hand, Celtic played against Motherwell, and the games were intense. First, Falkirk almost beat the Hearts. the Hearts won at last.

In the other match, the Celtics played against Motherwell. Motherwell scored a 1-0 in the first half of the match. But in the second half, the Celtics were able to score in the last few minutes. The Celtics knew that if they lost to Motherwell in this match, the Hearts would get the trophy and title. Then they would lose their title held for 66 years since 1960.

There is also now an update on the match: at Celtic Park, they had to restart the game. Celtic pushed for a response and leveled before the break with an Arne Engels penalty after a handball in the box. The game remained normal until the closing stages. In the 87th minute, Daizen Maeda headed Celtic into a crucial 2-1 lead. Callum Osmand ran through to score into an empty net in the eighth minute of stoppage time, sparking pandemonium and a massive pitch invasion that prevented the match from officially restarting. At first, the Hearts seemed like they were winning. But later, Celtic players turned the tables and won the game at last. The Celtic team has now retained the premiership and won it five times in a row, getting hold of it in 1960.
