The poem, “Summer Stars,” reminds of when my friend, “Lucas,” his brother, “Isaac,” Lucas’s little brother, “Jasper,” and their mom went hiking at Mission Peak with my family. that This included my dad, my mom, and my brother and I.
Summer Stars reminds me of this moment because when we were hiking to the top of the peak. It took a long time, like around three to five hours, so that is it was like reaching to for the stars. This is because it would take a very long time to actually get close to touch, or even feel, the stars, since they are quite far away from us on the ground.
Another reason is that after about four long hours, we finally got to the top. We took pictures, but the clouds were pretty close to us too due to light fog. This moment is was like when the author reached out for the stars and grabbed them it similar to how we touched the fog at the peak of Mission Peak.
Then, we decided to eat together at a close place nearby called Ma La Town and the there.
