What is My Favorite Place, and Why?
My favorite place is Japan. Some reasons why it is my favorite place include: good food, tons of things you can do, and tons of friendly people. Of course, there are also a lot more reasons why Japan is my favorite place, but these are my favorite ones.
One main reason I love Japan is because of its delicious food. Some foods I ate included: shaved ice, Japanese curry, ramen, and sushi. Most of the food I ate was pretty cheap, and was from street food stands and small shops. I especially liked the ramen because I was so hungry when I ate it.
Another reason why Japan is my favorite place is that there are a lot of things to do. From night markets to a peaceful cruise, all the fun activities I did there were amazing. My first time riding a Shinkansen train was in Japan, and it was very fast. A maglev train is a train that floats in the air using magnets. That allows for no friction, which makes the trains go super fast. Although I loved the trains, my favorite thing that I did there was going to the Pokémon Center. I strongly remember the long walk we took to get there, mainly because I bumped into a pole, but it was all worth the fun.
Finally, Japan has very nice and friendly people. I recall a time when I left my backpack at a restaurant, and after we left, the shop owner ran out to give me my backpack. This is just one of many times Japanese people were friendly to me.
In conclusion, Japan is my favorite place because of the friendly people, fantastic food, and fun activities and attractions. Again, these are only three of many great reasons why Japan is my favorite place.
