When my little cat sees food she goes berserk,

And when she doesn’t get it, she acts like a little jerk,

When my jerky cat sees prey, she begins to lurk,

Then jumps out at my feet!

Ugh she really knows how to irk!

But when she purrs like an engine about to overwork,

It always makes me think, “Maybe she’s not a little jerk.”
