In my opinion, Kendrick Lamar deserved the VMA award. His songs have become popular and powerful for people who like rap. The song was really catchy, and when I went to a school dance, they played a song of his. They played “Not Like Us,” which got a lot of people energetic and super joyful.

However, another two people who deserved the VMA award were Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars. They both came together and released “Die With a Smile,” which blew up all over the internet. The song was so successful because it wasn’t just catchy; it made people feel, and it brought back a truly romantic era. Express their emotions

I also was not too surprised regarding Travis Scott. His song “Fein” really caught the attention of a lot of people. The song gave everybody an energetic and crazy vibe. It gave me an urge to just jump around and start singing because it made me happy for some reason.

Still, somebody who should have won was Skrilla. He had an amazing and super catchy song called “Doot-Doot.” The song had me in a state of feeling like I was about to lose it all. It is in my mind to this day. I think many people know this song, including my teachers. I was genuinely surprised it did not get an award.

I think Bad Bunny is also well-deserved for the VMA award. Even though I cannot speak Spanish, I enjoy his music. They have a really nice beat. Great job for the Puerto Rican rapper.
