The world’s heaviest python was captured in Florida. The snake is a female who weighs 215 pounds and is 18 feet long.

Some Biologists found this python by tracking a male snake called Dionysus. Males are attracted to the largest female. So, they followed Dionysus and found the python.

They didn’t know how heavy she was until they weighed her in the lab. To everyone’s disbelief, she broke the 185 pounds record with a whopping 215.

A few months later, they discovered she broke another record: she had the largest number of eggs ever found, with 122 developing eggs in her abdomen.
